Open dialogues are held with the parents of students studying at Samarkand State University.

     Rustam Yuldoshev, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Samarkand State University, told parents in detail about the higher education system, procedures and educational processes.

     It should be noted that today we live in a time when higher education and the field of education in general are considered as the most important issue. Responsibility for the upbringing of young people lies with each link in the education system. Parents are also directly involved in this, since the teacher and student are the main parties in the educational process.

    “Today it is very important to increase the level of students' knowledge, to achieve efficiency of assimilation,” says Rustam Yuldashev, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Samarkand State University, “the quality of education depends, first of all, on the potential and professional skills of the teacher, on the effective assimilation of this knowledge by the student. On the other hand, it is important to remember that the student's parents are also involved in this. In short, the quality of knowledge transmitted to students cannot be improved without ensuring the integrity of the process of education and upbringing. An important factor in this is the constant contact of educational institutions with parents. At meetings, we provide parents with the necessary information regarding the education system and learning processes. At the same time, questions and suggestions on the topic are heard by each parent who is not indifferent to the education of their child.

     - If education is given to our children by a teacher, then education should be given by a parent, - says Eshmurod Ruziev, - I also studied at Samarkand State University. When we compare those times with today's conditions, there is a huge difference. Currently, the grandson is studying at Samarkand State University. I follow him constantly

    Thanks to today's meeting, I received the necessary information about the educational process at the university, the assessment system, and the distribution of the academic year. For example, the important news for me was that starting from the next academic year, monthly winter holidays are introduced at Samarkand State University, from August, training for everyone, except for students of the first stage.

     Cooperation between higher education institutions and parents is an important factor in improving the quality of education. Parent meetings held at the university are an important stage in the active involvement of parents in the educational process, raising the relationship between the educational institution and parents to a new level.

     It should be said that the attitude of parents to the education of their child is very important. Unfortunately, in recent years, many parents completely trust the upbringing of their child to the teacher. During the dialogue, similar misunderstandings were also clarified. During the meetings many questions were answered. Opinions and suggestions were heard. These discussions were beneficial to both parties...
