An open dialogue with parents took place at the Faculty of Philology of Samarkand State University. The event was attended by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of SamSU Rustam Yuldoshev, heads of the educational and methodological department Shakhriddin Muranov, Mavlon Bobokhonov, chairman of the expert council on women's issues of SamSU Sharofat Tukhlieva, chairman of the expert council on women's issues of SamSU and psychologist Roziya Namozova.

      The meeting discussed changes in the education system, examination processes, the benefits of the HEMIS system, the essence of learning a foreign language, the opportunities created for students, and the psychology of youth.

     The Dean of the Faculty of Philology of Samarkand State University, Professor Azamat Pardaev emphasized the importance of the activities of not only teachers, but also parents in educating students.

      During the event, teachers and parents exchanged views, and the content of today's meeting was clarified.

    - I am seventy five years old. I came from the Farish district of the Jizzakh region. My grandson is studying at the 1st year of the Faculty of Philology, - says Shakar Kurbanoev. - I graduated from two higher educational institutions. The grandson invited me, saying that there would be a parent meeting. I thought a lot about why I was called until I arrived from Jizzakh. During the meeting, issues of interest to the parties were discussed. I realized how important learning foreign languages is for our child's future. I learned about reforms in the education system. In addition, I got acquainted with the activities of Samarkand State University, and my soul felt better. I envied our youth when I saw their luxurious houses. I am grateful to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev for the opportunities created for our sons and daughters...

     - My sister is a student of the philological faculty of Samarkand State University. I myself work in the field of IT,” says Khusniddin Uzokov. - I was very pleased with today's open dialogue. Since the education system has been digitized, it has become easier for me to follow my sister's studies. Through the HEMIS system, I can track her achievements and shortcomings in the educational process.
