Khurshid Safarov, head of the information service of the traffic safety department of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Samarkand region, inspectors Bobur Akhrorov and Akrom Norboev held an open dialogue with SamSU students.

      The meeting discussed issues of prevention of traffic accidents, duties of pedestrians, traffic rules. A traffic police officer responsible for traffic safety in the Alisher Navoi microdistrict, located on University Boulevard, was also presented.

   The event was filled with questions and answers and continued in an intense manner.

    - The main goal of our promotional activities is to prevent adverse situations in traffic, - said Khurshid Safarov. - Who is the pedestrian or the driver? It's us, you or your peers. Unfortunately, the number of traffic accidents caused by our apathy in traffic is on the rise. Young people like you make up the majority of car accidents. We should all share the same responsibility for road safety, not just the Highway Patrol. You will avoid trouble if you do not violate the rules of the road. In a way, you will benefit society. Don't let the people who are close to you also break traffic rules....
