Meetings are held in Tashkent and Samarkand within the framework of the forum of rectors of Uzbekistan and Spain.

           At the forum, held at the Samarkand State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, with the participation of rectors of higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan and Spain, negotiations were held to strengthen international cooperation.

           Vice-Rector for International Cooperation of Samarkand State University, Professor Akmal Akhatov took part in a prestigious forum and made a presentation on Samarkand State University and its activities.

           During the talks with the rectors of the Madrid Polytechnic Institute, La Coruña, Granada, Valladolid University of Spain, issues such as the implementation of a number of innovative projects, the exchange of professors and researchers, and the expansion of international relations between universities were discussed.

           An agreement was also reached on cooperation with these universities in such areas as engineering physics, biotechnology, chemical technology, industrial technology, engineering mechanics, information and communication technologies, and composite materials technologies.
