Open lesson: "Writing methods characteristic of handwritten works"
Muhammadikhon Buzrukov, lecturer at the Department of Exact and Social Sciences and Humanities of Samarkand State University, held an open lesson for 2nd year students of the Center for International Educational Programs on the topic “Writing methods characteristic of handwritten works” in the discipline “Old Uzbek writing”.
- One of the greatest discoveries of mankind is writing. A very large part of the history of our country is reflected in the sources written in Arabic,” says Muhammadikhon Buzrukov. - Arabic writing is recognized as a work of art and a model of beauty. This can be seen in the manuscripts left by our ancestors. First, the creation of the book embodies many realities and events. Secondly, they fulfill the task of promoting them to the whole world and passing them on to the next generations. Books, regardless of their appearance, are still valued as a source of knowledge. Samarkand State University has created all the conditions for teaching the younger generation about unique handwritten sources. It is known that the use of such historical sources is carried out in a strict manner. In the scientific and practical museum laboratory of SamSU, special conditions have been created for students to get acquainted with primary sources and use them in the classroom. It is no coincidence that 2nd year students of the Center for International Educational Programs took the subject "Old Uzbek writing" and "Writing methods characteristic of handwritten works" here. During the lesson, students got acquainted with the historical resources stored here. They studied their writing methods by comparing them with each other. It is urgent to convey to the younger generation the scientific, historical and cultural significance of written sources.
Employees of the Rare Manuscripts Department of the Samarkand Regional Information and Library Center named after Pushkin also took part in the open lesson...
