The speakers at the presentation of the book expressed their opinion about the scientists and thinkers who made a great contribution to the creation of the foundations of the First Renaissance.
“The life and scientific activity of our thinkers are an example for young people of all eras,” says Utkir Rakhmat, editor-in-chief of the Khalk Suzi newspaper, Honored Journalist of the Republic of Uzbekistan, holder of the Mekhnat Shukhrati Order. - We should not only be proud of the names of scientists who created the First Renaissance in the history of our country and the world, but also strive to become their worthy successors. We must diligently study their lives and scientific heritage. Because an intellectually developed society and state can lay the foundations of the Third Renaissance, which is typical of its ancestors. In this regard, the work carried out at SamSU deserves attention...
- If as a result of the European Renaissance there were new discoveries in the field of literature and art, architectural masterpieces, medicine and the human mind, then a characteristic feature of the Eastern Renaissance is, first of all, mathematics, astronomy, physics. is manifested in the development of specific and natural sciences, such as chemistry, geodesy, pharmacology, medicine, as well as history, philosophy and literature, - says Professor Bakhtiyor Ergashev, head of the Department of History and Source Studies of Samarkand State University, Doctor of Historical Sciences. - Our task and duty is to use the rich heritage of mature figures of this era, thinkers and scientists for the development of all mankind. A very important role in this regard is played by dedicated scientists, thanks to their work we are rediscovering the invaluable scientific heritage of the past.
