The textbook "Chemistry and Technology of Polymers" by Professor Normurod Fayzullaev and Senior Lecturer Rustam Muradov, Head of the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of Polymers of Samarkand State University, has been published. The textbook was created on the basis of the undergraduate program in chemical technology and chemistry and is devoted to the study of the chemistry of macromolecular compounds. The textbook contains the classification of macromolecular compounds, their types, names, methods of preparation, physicochemical properties of polymers, cooperative reactions between macromolecules of polyelectrolytes, organic metals, nanomaterials, nanolayers and their production, nanoporous coatings, nanocomposites, "intelligent" or "smart" polymers, widely covered technologies for the production of polymers. At the end of the textbook there are control questions, tasks, exercises and necessary literature for self-testing of students' knowledge.
