Samarkand State University was visited by Kenji Tanaka, professor of Kyoto University of Japan, head of the Uzbek-Japanese SATREPS project, and Mie Matsuo Naoko and Kristina Toderich, professors of the University.

 Rector of Samarkand State University, scientist of the Republic of Uzbekistan, member of the Senate of Oliy Majlis Rustam Khalmuradov met with the honored persons.

 During the dialog they reached an agreement on realization of international projects in the sphere of agriculture, agro-biotechnologies and food safety.
