A delegation led by Zbigniew Wojciechowski, Chairman of the Regional Development and External Cooperation Committee of the Lublin (Poland) Provincial Government, visited Samarkand State University. The delegation met with Akmal Akhatov, the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation at Samarkand State University.

        During the meeting, issues of cooperation between the parties were discussed. It was planned to establish permanent connections between higher education institutions in Lublin and SamDU. In particular, agreements were made to facilitate the exchange of professors, researchers, and staff in the fields of agrobiotechnology, food security, and social sciences and humanities.
