A delegation of journalists and media representatives, led by Azamat Ajimuratov, head of the Information Department of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, visited Samarkand State University.

   The main purpose of this visit is to gather information about the situation of young people from Karakalpakstan who have been admitted to the university under a special quota, and to closely observe the conditions created for their studies, living, recreation, and engagement in sports.

  The guests visited the classrooms, library, laboratories, greenhouse, dormitory, lecture halls, campus of the Institute of Biochemistry, and the zoology museum at Samarkand State University. They interacted with several students studying biology, chemistry, and biotechnology, listening to their thoughts and opinions. They wished the young people from Karakalpakstan success in their studies and research.

   The media representatives from Karakalpakstan rated the conditions and opportunities at Samarkand State University highly. Today, students from all regions of our country are studying at this institution, and there are also those coming from abroad. The goal is to study and acquire knowledge, with the aspiration to become good specialists in the future.
