The “Scientific Center for Agrobiotechnological Transfers” of the Institute of Agrobiotechnologies and Food Security of Samarkand State University named after Sharof Rashidov was organized in 2022 under the leadership of the rector of the university, Professor R.I. Khalmuradov, director of the Institute of Agrobiotechnologies and Food Security, Associate Professor T.F. Radzhabov and Associate Professor of the Department of Soil Science and Agricultural Technologies T.K. Ortikov.

    The goal of the scientific center for agrobiotechnological transfers is to study problematic research projects in the field of soil science, agrochemistry and crop production, implement the obtained scientific results in production, and participate in the targeted development of state scientific and technical programs.

    One of the important tasks of the scientific center for agrobiotechnological transfers of the Institute of Agrobiotechnologies and Food Security of Samarkand State University is to increase the efficiency of the agricultural production sector of the Samarkand region, cooperation with agricultural clusters and farmers in the production process, establishing comprehensive connections with the world's leading universities, attracting professors and teachers of leading higher educational institutions foreign countries for joint scientific research.

    The research center develops systems for applying fertilizers to agricultural crops based on soil analyzes of fields where crops are cultivated, which contributes to the efficient use of fertilizers, obtaining high-quality and high yields and increasing economic efficiency.
