It is a historical fact that the organization of the Turkic states was transferred to Alp-Er-Tun, i.e. to Samarkand. Because this city has been the cradle of science for centuries as a cultural center with a historical heritage. Ulugbek Observatory, Ulugbek Madrasah, Tillakori Madrasah, Sherdor Madrasah on Registan Square still remind the whole world that Uzbekistan is the cradle of civilization as an important cultural and spiritual monument that resists time. In addition, Uzbekistan is a strategic, important locomotive country located in the very heart of the Great Silk Road. In this regard, I think that Uzbekistan, which chairs the summit, will become a member of the Organization of Turkic States in 2019, which is the result of a long-term policy.

      The fundamental mission and main principles of this organization are to deepen all-round cooperation between Turkish countries, promote regional and global peace and stability, pursue an active foreign policy, search for solutions to the problems facing humanity, create political value, economy, transport, customs. , tourism, Many areas such as education, media, youth and sports can be listed as ensuring the continuation of joint activities.

      The most important issue on the agenda of this meeting is the development of cooperation in the field of transport and the economy, as well as the process of Turkmenistan's entry into full members of the organization. Actually, one of the agreements signed by the Turkish side with the member states in Samarkand is the Transport Communications Program and the Turkish Investment Fund. In addition, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev awarded the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan with the Order of Imam Bukhari of the Highest Degree - this is another sign of deep respect between the two fraternal countries for each other.

      Uzbekistan, with its geostrategic position, deep history and rich cultural values, plays an active role in realizing the main goals of this organization through universal literacy. I fully believe that the future will be shaped on the basis of cultural steps, and that under the banner of the Organization of Turkic States, strong fraternal ties will reach a new level.
