Today, nanosatellites are an important and integral part of space science. Tasks such as obtaining high and high resolution images of the Earth, collecting, processing and analyzing information about radiation, pressure, gravity, light and air composition are the basis of important scientific discoveries in physics and astronomy. This is the main goal of the international project "UniSat"...

Nafisa Rahmonova, a student at the Institute of Engineering Physics of Samarkand State University, participates in the international UniSat program. This project was organized in cooperation with the UNICEF Fund, the Agency for Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the public organization Tech4impact.

UniSat is an important project for girls with strong knowledge and potential who are interested in physics and astronomy. The program provides participants with the opportunity to get acquainted with space technologies, radio electronics, programming, receiving and processing images of the Earth from space, and satellite meteorology technologies.

      - Within the framework of this program, I participate in 4-month seminars with the participation of 150 girls aged 15 to 24 from different regions of our republic, - says Nafisa Rakhmonova, - while completing the tasks, I received a lot of useful knowledge in connection with the project. In my free time, I work with my supervisor, Associate Professor of the Department of Nuclear Physics and Astronomy Akmal Safarov on the basics of electronics, programming, modeling and printing objects on a 3D printer in the educational laboratory of nuclear physics and astronomy. Recently I received an international certificate IELTS 7.5 in English. Now it allows me to participate in international projects in my field, work on myself, follow international research in the field of nuclear physics...

The UniSat project is a great opportunity for girls involved in science to improve their knowledge and skills in physics, astronomy, space technology and 3D modeling. According to the results at the end of the course, 20 girls with the highest results among 150 participants will be selected for the final. Among the participants, Nafisa Rakhmonova has a high chance of reaching the final.
