Jasurbek Abdumalikov, associate professor at the Institute of Agrobiotechnologies and Food Security of Samara State University, is located at the Siberian Federal Research Center for Agrobiotechnologies of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The purpose of the trip was to conduct research on crop selection using modern methods. J. Abdumalikov conducts experiments on the creation of new varieties of cotton using modern methods of genetics and genomics in the laboratories of agroclimatic research and automation of microclonal selection of this center. Work is underway to prepare nutrient media for breeding new plant varieties and conduct PSR analyzes to protect plants from viral diseases. Also during the trip, work will be carried out on other agricultural crops, in particular, potatoes, corn, legumes and fodder crops, medicinal plants, and the research results will be applied to the development of these areas in our republic.
