A practical seminar was held at the Institute of Agrobiotechnology and Food Security of Samarkand State University to familiarize talented students with the opportunities and conditions of study in higher educational institutions in Germany.

      At the seminar, Anton Umbach, a specialist from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), gave a lecture to the students of the institute. Detailed information was provided about the possibilities of obtaining grants and scholarships to study at universities in Germany. In particular, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) informed students about the requirements and deadlines for submitting documents for studying at short-term master's and doctoral courses announced for Uzbek students.

      During the seminar, many questions of students were clarified, and students also received enough information about study opportunities at universities in Germany.
