An international seminar was held at the Institute of Biochemistry of Samarkand State University on the topic “Gardens of the Great Silk Road - traditions of gardening and farming, mutual harmony of plants and crops - heritage of the past and modern problems.”

      The seminar was attended by directors of botanical gardens in Russia, Germany, Belgium, Belarus and leading experts.

      At the conference, current problems and prospects for the development of the Botanical Garden of Samara State University were discussed.
