A delegation led by Wan Yu Xiao, Director of the Cultural Exchange and Promotion Center of the SCO Institute of Economy and Trade of the People's Republic of China, visited Samarkand State University.

At the meeting, issues related to establishing cooperation with Chinese higher education institutions in various academic fields of the university were discussed. In particular, the parties exchanged views on developing joint educational programs in agreed areas, organizing faculty and student exchange programs, and enhancing collaboration in scientific research.

The parties agreed to continue negotiations on developing mutually beneficial cooperation. Within the framework of the meeting, the main areas of collaboration were identified, and future plans were discussed.
