Participation in the conference and open lecture on regulation of artificial intelligence in Kazakhstan
In October 2024, the head of the Central Asian Research Center for Artificial Intelligence Regulation at Samarkand State University, implementing the Erasmus+Jean Monnet project “Artificial Intelligence Regulation: European Approach for Central Asia” (Project 101124510 - AIREA-CA - ERASMUS-JMO-2023-HEI-TCH-RSCH), took part in the international scientific-practical conference on the peculiarities of legal regulation of labor in the era of artificial intelligence. The conference was organized by Maqsut Narikbayev University and took place in Astana. During the conference the participants of the scientific event discussed the problems arising in connection with the introduction of artificial intelligence in production, changes in the status of employees and expansion of opportunities for employers, which require the attention of the law.
In addition to the report at the conference, Irina Filipova gave an open lecture to Kazakhstani students on the topic of the project implemented by the Central Asian Research Center for Regulation of Artificial Intelligence, speaking about international experience in the field of regulation of artificial intelligence, primarily the experience of the European Union in connection with the development and adoption of the Regulation on Artificial Intelligence, which came into force on August 1, 2024. The previous public lecture on this topic was held at Samarkand State University in September 2024.
