The reporting and election meeting on the implementation of the 2023-2025 collective agreement of the Primary Trade Union Organization of Samarkand State University in 2024 was held.

    The event was attended by 77 delegates and Iftikhor Rahimov, the responsible organizer of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of Uzbekistan for the Samarkand region.

    At the meeting, reports on the implementation of the 2023-2025 collective agreement in 2024 were presented by the Chairman of the Primary Trade Union Committee, Associate Professor Shavkat Maxmatmuradov, and the leadership of Samarkand State University. Additionally, the Chairman of the Commission for Monitoring the Implementation of the Collective Agreement, Safarboy Qurbaniyazov, introduced the inspection report.

   Shavkat Maxmatmuradov also provided a detailed report on the committee’s activities for 2020-2025. The speakers shared their opinions and gave a positive evaluation of the five-year activities of the trade union committee.

   During the meeting, new members of the trade union committee and the audit commission were elected. The reporting and election meeting was held in a demanding atmosphere, and through a secret ballot, Shavkat Maxmatmuradov was re-elected as the chairman of the committee and the presidium.
