Today is the birthday of Professor of Samarkand State University, People's Artist of Uzbekistan Abdurashid Ergashev.

    Abdurashid Ergashev was born in 1941 in the city of Kokand. To date, the artist has trained many opera artists. His song "Samarkand" became the anthem of Samarkand. The long-term work of the scientist is an example for young people.
