Why do we need agritourism development?

What areas of the Samarkand region have a high agro-tourism attractiveness?
Agrotourism is the presence of additional places of recreation for the population in territories other than urban centers, in particular, in districts. If the main goal of agritourism is to ensure that tourists who come to the country spend more time in our country, then, on the other hand, this is an additional opportunity for interesting recreation for the local population.
- Judging by the experience of foreign countries, agro-tourism is most often used by local residents, - says Akmal Amirov, a doctoral student at the Faculty of Human Resource Management of SamSU. - They enjoy spending their holidays at agritourism sites. In particular, in Italy and Spain, 25-30% of the population said they prefer to spend their holidays in agritourism areas.
Of course, in order to develop agro-tourism, we must improve the road infrastructure, create high-level service facilities in the regions, and effectively organize housing and hotel services for tourists.
As part of the study, we conducted various surveys and surveys in 14 districts of our region. At the same time, taking into account the quality of service in the districts, land plots, forests, investment potential and other factors, Samarkand, Jambay, Urgut, Akdarya, Taylak districts are recognized as the most attractive for agritourism. We are currently conducting research to increase agro-tourism attractiveness in other areas of our region.
It must be admitted that the development of agritourism is a new direction for us. It has a positive effect on the development of not only tourism, but also agriculture, manufacturing and services. Makes a worthy contribution to the economic growth of the territory.
For reference, Akmal Amirov, a doctoral student at the Faculty of Human Resource Management of Samarkand State University, has published more than 20 of his articles on this topic in Germany and Indonesia, as well as in national publications, and continues to be in the center of public attention.
