Master of the Faculty of Chemistry of the Samarkand State University Sobir Kosimov conducted a scientific study on the topic “Determination of certain ions in the soil used in agriculture by chemical and photometric methods” and researched the fertility of the soils of the Urgut region on a scientific basis.

    As part of the study, groundwater and surface water were investigated on the example of the Urgut region, part of the experimental site was supported by the waters of the Zarafshan River, the other part was supported by groundwater.

    As a result of the experiments, it was found that the mineral composition of the water of the Zarashan River makes crops more fertile.
