The seminar is held within the framework of the World Bank project “Modernization of the National Innovation System of Uzbekistan” (MUNIS) on the initiative of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation. Young scientists and researchers from higher educational institutions and research institutes of the Samarkand region take part in the event.
The main goal and essence of the project is to develop and strengthen skills in the field of commercialization of technologies and implementation of start-up projects by supporting academic researchers and entrepreneurs interested in scientific and technical research in the regions, to prepare an audience of researchers to participate in the investment programs of the MUNIS project, the research commercialization program (RSP), consisting of business investments in R&D...
The seminar is conducted by a World Bank consultant, international expert on technology commercialization and starting a business, Sergey Makarov.
The following topics are covered in the classes:
- Principles of commercialization R&D;
- Identification of promising innovative products;
- Product development (use of the Kano model in future product features);
- Search for clients and new businesses (one of the Lean methods is the formation of R&D according to the principle of “quality home”, taking into account the needs of clients);
- IM detection and early assessment;
- Interaction of researchers with technology brokers, entrepreneurs, investors; build partnerships while avoiding pitfalls;
- Business accelerators and early-stage venture investments: what participants in the R&D system need to know;
- Global development: how to predict and what to avoid.
The seminar will be held in Russian and English and will last 2 days.
