Perspective strategy of Samarkand State University or the basis for a new renaissance

Today, effective work is being carried out to further improve the activities of the country's higher educational institutions and include them in the TOP-1000 universities. In particular, targeted reforms and a number of projects in this direction are being carried out at Samarkand State University.
In particular, the involvement of foreign experts in the practical implementation of these projects is important for bringing the university's activities to the level of world standards.
Director of the Transformation Center of Samarkand State University, Professor Mohd Nazish Khan considers it important to further develop the university, increase the level of foreign language proficiency of teachers and students in combination with scientific research, modern classrooms, new methodology in international rankings.
- I came here in the spring of 2022 at the invitation of the coordinator of the international cooperation department of SamSU, Professor Mukhtar Nasirov on a monthly academic trip, - says Mohd Nazish Khan. - The wonderful atmosphere created by the professors and young teachers for scientific research and research contributed to my idea to work here for a long time. Before I came here, I worked at Aligarh Muslim University in India.
Currently, the team of Samarkand State University is making every effort to improve its international ranking. From the new academic year, two institutes and a branch will start their work at the university. This puts another responsibility on the team.
We are currently conducting research to analyze existing academic problems, research publication problems, teaching methods, library activities and many other issues and propose concrete, serious solutions for them. The university has great potential. We must properly and rationally use this potential and effectively direct our knowledge.
On an ongoing basis, we analyze existing problems together with responsible persons from such departments of the university as training, international cooperation, scientific work and innovation, quality control of education. I think that from the new academic year the university will begin its activities in a completely new system. This is also due to the academic and financial independence afforded to a higher education institution, of course.
Samarkand State University widely uses modern technologies in the educational process. However, in my opinion, more technical and scientific laboratories are needed for modern research. We plan to introduce modern faculty development programs for our teachers that cover the English language to a greater extent. We also strive to create a supportive environment for learning English by acting more seriously together with students. Now at the university, many students are trying to learn foreign languages. Because it is a state of the art tool used worldwide for superior research and resources.
Of course, staying in Samarkand is a myth. This small city has long been a place of science, enlightenment and enlightenment. A clear evidence of this is that all three complexes on the world-famous Registan Square are higher educational institutions. In my opinion, Samarkand State University is now laying new renaissance foundations for the development of science. I am convinced that the creation of two institutes and two branches within it will make a worthy contribution to improving the education of the city's population, to its constant passion for science, literature and development.
