Samarkand State University has signed a cooperation memorandum with the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee.
A delegation led by Professor Kumar Pant, the director of the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, visited Samarkand State University.
The guests met with Rustam Kholmurodov, the rector of Samarkand State University, a science figure of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and a member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis.
The meeting discussed the establishment of joint educational programs in the fields of hydrology and hydrogeology. They agreed on faculty and student exchange, mentorship for graduate students and researchers, organizing international conferences, and publishing articles in prestigious scientific journals.
At the end of the meeting, a cooperation memorandum was signed between the parties
