Roza Shukrullozoda, a doctoral candidate at the Department of Genetics and Biotechnology of Samarkand State University, is conducting research on the unique tulips of Samarkand.

In her scientific studies, the researcher has increasingly focused on the foster and tulipa species of tulips listed in the Red Book.

As part of this project, the candidate aims to propagate this plant in the "Bog'bon" in vitro laboratory in the Jomboy district and return it to the wild.

As a result of her research, the doctoral candidate has cultivated nearly 1,000 bulbs of these species and planted them in the “Omonqo'ton” National Nature Park in the Urgut district.

An approval event for the project was held with the participation of professors and teachers from Samarkand State University, representatives of the “Omonqo'ton” National Nature Park, and specialists from the Zomin National Nature Park. The expert scientists shared their insights and suggestions, supporting the researcher's scientific work.

For reference, Roza Shukrullozoda’s scientific supervisors are Professor Khislat Khaydarov from SamDU and Professor Davron Dehqonov from Andijan State University.
