The holiday of geologists is celebrated in Uzbekistan on the first weekend of April. In connection with the date, professors and teachers of the Department of Hydrometeorology of Samarkand State University organized a training seminar for students of the 3rd stage of geological education.

      This training took place in three stages, and initially the trainees were at the base owned by Samgeoltechservice LLC, where they got acquainted with the device and operation of the drilling rig, documentation for the core products obtained from it, and sampling. process. After that, the students visited the Central Geological and Geophysical Expedition and took part in the process of conducting geophysical surveys in wells at the Logging Station. Also, professors and teachers of the department and leading employees of the enterprise acquainted the students in detail with the process of sample processing in the sample processing workshop, which is part of the field exploration expedition "Zarafshon". At the end of the seminar, students received detailed answers to their questions directly from the experts.
