A meeting was held for 1st-2nd-3rd year students of the Faculty of Geography and Ecology of Samarkand State University and their parents.

      Parents got acquainted with the activities of Samarkand State University. We took part in educational processes, visited laboratories, libraries, museums, and dormitories.

      A film created according to the idea of the rector of Samarkand State University, scientist of the Republic of Uzbekistan, member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Rustam Halmuradov was presented to the attention of parents. The film shows the life path of heroes who came from an ordinary family and achieved high results thanks to education.

      After the film screening, Rector of Samarkand State University Rustam Khalmuradov talked with parents and talked about the role of parents in raising children, the importance of learning foreign languages and the conditions created for students.

      “I graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics of Samarkand State University in 2004,” says Malika Kushnazarova. - My daughter Rukhshona is a 1st year student at the Faculty of Geography and Ecology of Samara State University. I compared the previous and current state of the university. There have been a lot of changes. Luxurious buildings were erected. The audiences are modern, digitized. All conditions are sufficient for learning. In order for our children to learn better, we need to cooperate with the university.

      - A film was shown at a meeting with parents. The life of the film’s characters is an example for parents,” says Shoira Muminova. - Every movie character came from a poor family and reached the top in their field. I witnessed that this happened due to their good studies, persistence in acquiring knowledge and the support of their parents. I will create the best conditions for my son Bekzod to study.
