The team of Samarkand State University congratulated all Indian scholars working in the university's departments on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of India's Independence. The long-standing relationship with India, which has lasted for over a thousand years, has been further strengthened thanks to the support and cooperation of the Indian government.

     A new 'Corner of India' has been established at the central library of Samarkand State University. Approximately two years ago, the first corner was set up at the Faculty of Intellectual Systems and Computer Technologies.

     On the occasion of India's Independence Day, the 'Corner of India' in the Central Library serves as a cultural bridge for showcasing books generously donated by the Prime Minister of India. The Department of Art Studies at Samarkand State University organized a cultural event dedicated to India's Independence Day to further strengthen our cultural ties.
