A delegation from Yeungnam University (South Korea), led by the Executive Vice President for International Education, GIM Chae-Chun, visited Samarkand State University.

     The guests met with Akmal Akhatov, the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation at SamDU. The discussion focused on further developing joint educational programs and the exchange of professors and lecturers.

     The collaboration will include implementing scientific projects, publishing textbooks, educational manuals, and articles. Plans were made for joint work with the Institute of Human Resources and Community Development and the Faculty of Intellectual Systems and Computer Technologies.

     During the visit, the guests toured the International Education Programs Center and met with students.

     For your information, SamDU established cooperation with Yeungnam University in South Korea in 2023. Currently, there is a joint educational program in the field of Economics at the undergraduate level. Additionally, four master's students from the Institute of Human Resources and Community Development are studying at this university.
