An international conference titled "Problems of Mechanics: Structure, Materials Science, and Tribology" is being held at Samarkand State University

Around 100 foreign scientists from countries such as Germany, the United Kingdom, Russia, China, France, Italy, South Korea, Turkey, Belarus, Denmark, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, and Armenia are participating in the prestigious event.

The conference is dedicated to interdisciplinary research, considering the interconnection and interaction of mechanical, tribological, and material aspects of technical and biological systems.

The international conference is being held in collaboration with Samarkand State University and the Technical University of Berlin, Germany

    E. Kim, a professor at Yonsei University in South Korea:

Samarkand is a magnificent city that embodies both history and modernity. This is my first visit to Samarkand, and I really like your city. Samarkand State University has prepared very well for today’s conference. Before coming to the event, I was interested in the activities of SamSU, especially the fact that students study in Korea and several Korean researchers conduct scientific work at Samarkand State University, which makes me very happy. Today, we are listening to presentations on very interesting topics. This is an important step in the further development of science in this field.

Varvara Romanova, Professor at the Russian Academy of Sciences:

It has become a tradition to hold this conference at Samarkand State University. I came to participate in the ceremony at the same time last year as well. The preparations this year are also excellent. We are hearing presentations that will provide solutions to pressing issues, which is especially important for young researchers. Today, world-renowned mechanical scientists have gathered at Samarkand State University. Researchers have the opportunity to choose topics that are important for them and to select scientific advisors from abroad during this event.

The conference will continue its work until September 26, divided into four sections.
