A seminar-training for students has been held at the Faculty of Agrobiotechnology and Food Safety of Samarkand State University with the participation of the head of Samarkand Invest Garden LLC, entrepreneur Odil Rakhmonov.  Odil Rakhmonov, a skilled entrepreneur with several years of experience in the field of agriculture, who has returned from several countries around the world to share his experience in agriculture and entrepreneurship, shared his experiences with students of the faculty.   In particular, he spoke about the creation of new varieties of trees planted in Uzbekistan, new ways to obtain sugar from natural products.

Particularly, he called on young entrepreneurs to approach the manufacturing sector with new innovative ideas and proposals in the agricultural sector. He noted that the students have enough knowledge and skills for this.

“Sugar is mainly imported to our country from Russia, Ukraine and India.  The technology of extracting sugar from natural products is only from sugar-beet has been introduced.  However, sugar can also be obtained from our natural products, such as melons, watermelons and mulberries.  - said Odil Rakhmonov - This will greatly benefit the food industry.  Today, most of the melons and watermelons grown in our country are exported abroad.  Foreigners get several different products from them in different ways, such as sugar, feed for livestock.  If we introduce these technologies and practices in our country, we will make a significant contribution to our economy and food security.

The sides also exchanged views on the technology of biogas production from natural organic substances, as well as technologies introduced abroad.  According to the businessman, in developed countries such as the United States and China, biogas is produced from agricultural waste.  Biogas can be easily used in daily life.  At the same time, the problem of cleaning up local fertilizers, which is currently a problem for many people, will be solved in the process of biogas production.

It should be noted that cardiovascular and respiratory diseases, which are observed in the majority of the world's population today, are directly caused by poor nutrition and consumption of environmentally unfriendly foods.  Therefore, the safety of natural products, the development of methods of substances necessary for daily life from them is an urgent task.  Odil Rakhmonov also spoke about the methods of obtaining iodine from natural products, which are necessary for human health, as well as an effective protein for fisheries and poultry.
