In connection with the accession of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Organization of Turkic language states, our country's ties with Turkic language countries are being strengthened.
Political, economic and cultural ties have further strengthened with Turkic language countries such as the Republic of Turkey, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, the Republic of Turkmenistan and such Turkic language republics within the Russian Federation as Tatarstan, Bashkortostan and Yakutia.
As a result, there is a need for a scientific center for the study of language, literature, culture and themes of cooperation between Turkic language countries. In response to this need, the “Research Institute of Turkology at Samarkand State University named after Sharof Rashidov” is being created.
