Tillaniso Eshbaeva, a talented poetess, a young writer who entered the world of literature with such works as "Dilhat" and "Sunbula", became another guest of the "Heart and Pen" project.

    - What news in your work, what new works do you intend to present to lovers of literature?

Now I am preparing to defend my dissertation. Also these days my book of poems "Blood" is being prepared for publication. Last month, I participated in the Venice Festival of Literature and Art, which takes place every two years. It is a festival of art and literature from all over the world. With the next creative trip in July, I will go to Germany. Together with members of the “Davra club”, we will participate in the International Art Festival Documenta Fifteen, organized by Saodat Ismailova, a director and artist selected from Central Asia. In any case, in the last free time I try to devote myself to creativity and scientific work.

-They say that every artist has his own pen. What sharpened your pen?

    - There is no such thing as a sharpener. For example, if you work hard, you won't get good results just by working. If you read regularly, you won't become a great writer just by reading. If you study, if you work, if you do not understand life, if your heart has not gone through the fire of life, then you will not be able to write a good work. The creative pen is honed by hard work, study, life experience and heartache.

    - In your style there is pain, depression, in a sense, “standing up”. Why is this?

    - If there is a “stand up”, that's great. In fact, creation itself is “stand up”. I am honored that you see features of “standing up for something” in my work. A writer cannot write anything if there is no “standing for something” in his heart. Being creative and speaking openly is a kind of “standing up”. This is the essence of creation.

When it comes to depression and pain, everyone has their own way of understanding life. Someone understands life with joy and happiness, someone with pain and suffering. I understand the world through pain. Probably the reason why they don't work so well.

    - Are you such a depressed person in real life?

    - In a sense, I have a bad life. But this does not mean that there is a lot of pain or mental suffering in my life. But when I'm alone, there's a rebellion in my soul. To be honest, I'm starting to "eat" myself. In this case, the best way to deal with pain and suffering is to write. When my views and the realities of life do not match, I get depressed.

    - Who do you read as a writer?

    - Lately I've been reading Joyce. I read a lot of Uzbek literature, such as Shukur Kholmirzaev, Murod Muhammad Dost, Nazar Eshankul, Khurshid Dostmuhammad. I also enjoy watching young artists. At the moment, I have to study world philosophy through my research. That's why I read more postmodernism in world literature.

-Each work of art reflects the feelings of the author. What do you mean by "Sanbula"?

    - More students should appreciate it.

    - Do you want to be known as a poet or a writer?

First a poet, then a writer. Because I started my career writing poetry. I wrote my first poem when I was in 1st grade. My first poem was about the sun.

    - What was the attitude towards "Sanbula" and was there any criticism?

    - "Sanbula" received a lot of criticism. But I have not encountered criticism that was properly expressed. It was believed that the work was written by an unknown person. In general, I have never been negative about the opinions expressed. I accept criticism.

    - What are you afraid of in life?

    - I'm afraid to live with the fear of not getting what I want.

    - What do you think about today's literary process?

    - Today's literary process is in a period of evolution. In the process of writing a work and presenting it to the reader, there are only two parties: the creator and the reader. The socio-political environment does not interfere in this process. So the creator is free in this respect. Now it's up to the creator to get readers to follow him. However, the discussion and criticism of the created work of art from a literary point of view is decreasing. The level of creativity is measured by the size of the audience that reads it and how popular the work is. Social networks have become an excellent platform for modern literature. In truth, the audience of show business is larger than the audience of writers. However, 30-40 years ago it was the other way around.

    - Isn't it the students themselves?

    - Probably so. But creators also need to be able to control people's ever-changing opinions, rather than being swallowed up by society.

They say that behind every success there is a sacrifice. What did you sacrifice before reaching your current level?

    - When life takes something from you, it gives you the happiness to understand and grow. When I was young, I started a big life with dreams for every girl. Today I realize that ten or fifteen years ago, I sacrificed my imagination for her, her little girl's looks, and her dreams when the time came.

    - If you had to describe your past life in words, what genre would you create?

Let it be a novel for now.

    - Let's move on to the traditional question: each region of the country has its own literary environment. What can you say about the literary environment of Samarkand?

    - Many years ago, I went to Samarkand State University for an event as part of the Samarkand Poetry Evenings. These memories remain the most beautiful, calm and sincere memories of my life. Samarkand has a special spirit. The city gave Uzbek literature such writers as Khurshid Davron, Abduvali Kutbiddin, Fakhriyor, Guljamol Askarova, Aydinniso, Feruza Khairullaeva. Thus, the literary environment of Samarkand is an important part of modern Uzbek literature.
