Vice-Rector for International Cooperation of Samarkand State University Akmal Akhatov arrived in Israel in order to take part in an international conference "Days of Uzbek Science in Israel - on the way of strengthening friendship between peoples" organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Israel and the Holon Institute of Technology.

    During the visit, the sides met with the President of the Holon Institute of Technology, Professor Eduard Yakubov to discuss issues of expanding bilateral cooperation and strengthening existing ties.

    For information, Samarkand State University in cooperation with the Holon Institute of Technology has organized a joint educational program in two bachelor's degrees.
