Shakhnoza Khushmurodova and Komila Makhkamova, associate professors of the Department of English at Samarkand State University, conducted an experimental test to determine the level of English proficiency of students of foreign languages and literature based on the Anglia Examination program. This exam is accepted as a test and is used for the first time in Uzbekistan.

Students tested their knowledge of reading, listening, grammar and vocabulary using the Placement web application. The program was connected online to England's Chechester College and the results were evaluated by foreign experts.

Most importantly, depending on the results, students will study free of charge for up to 4 months under the Anglia Examination program and will be allowed to retake the exam for the second time. If this program proves itself, it is planned to be widely implemented in Uzbekistan.
