An award ceremony was held at Samarkand State University for 15 students and their supervisors who received presidential and state scholarships in the 2022-2023 academic year. Talented youth and dedicated teachers were congratulated by the First Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Samarkand State University Ahmadjon Soleev:

     The First Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Samarkand State University Ahmadjon Soleev and Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Hakim Khushvaktov awarded scientific supervisors of talented students with diplomas and cash prizes. The scholarship holders were awarded the relevant certificates of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education.

     - Achievements of students of SamSU bring great satisfaction to us, the teaching staff. My student Khurriyat Urmonova, a 3rd year student of the Faculty of Philology, received a state scholarship named after Alisher Navoi, - says Orziboni Yusupova, Associate Professor of the Department of Uzbek Linguistics. - As soon as I started classes for the first time, I witnessed that this student, who stands out among her classmates for her craving for knowledge, has a special passion for science. This is my second student who has won a government scholarship. As a teacher, I am proud of every achievement of my students.

    In addition, 5 scholarship holders named after famous academicians Vohid Abdullayev, Botirkhon Valikhodzhaev, Akbar Otakhodzhaev were awarded at Samarkand State University.
