At the initiative of the Women's Expert Council of Samarkand State University, together with the Faculty of Preschool and Primary Education, a seminar was organized on the topic "Negative Consequences of Early Marriage".

      The event was opened by Sharofat Tukhlieva, chairperson of the Advisory Council for Women's Affairs, adviser to the rector. After that, Gulandom Ibragimova, head of the registry office No. 4 of the city of Samarkand, spoke, who gave an opinion on the negative consequences of marriage between relatives and made a report on the negative consequences of early marriage. The comments of Clara Usmonova, a doctor at the city's multidisciplinary polyclinic, about early marriages, early childbirth and the negative consequences of marriage were extremely useful for the audience.

      Also during the event, artistic performances of students of the Faculty of Preschool and Primary Education were shown.
