The basic doctoral student of the Department of Uzbek Language and Literature of Samarkand State University Shohista Djumanova became the winner of the competition "Sending young scientists for internships to leading foreign universities and scientific organizations", held by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation.

           The doctoral student continues his research at the FoLLIS Research Institute of the University of Poitiers, France, based on this grant program.

           Currently, Shohista Djumanova is conducting research under the guidance of Raymond Joseph Hoffman, professor at the University of Oxford, and Shakhnoza Khushmuradova, assistant professor of English at the SamSU State University, majoring in comparative literature.
