Nafisa Rahmonova, a student at the Institute of Engineering Physics of Samarkand State University, participates in the international UniSat program. This project was organized in cooperation with the UNICEF Fund, the Agency for Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the public organization Tech4impact.

UniSat is an important project for girls with strong knowledge and potential who are interested in physics and astronomy. The program provides participants with the opportunity to get acquainted with space technologies, radio electronics, programming, receiving and processing images of the Earth from space, and satellite meteorology technologies.

The international project provides an excellent opportunity for girls in science to improve their knowledge and skills in physics, astronomy, space technology and 3D modeling.

170 girls took part in this competitive project. The girls enrolled in the 1st stage completed 4 months of seminary training and completed the necessary tasks.

At the 2nd stage, 30 girls who successfully completed the courses were selected. At the 3rd stage, an interview was conducted and the research conducted by the participants in science was summarized.

Based on the overall results, the Top 20 girls with the highest results were selected.

The finalists of the program will take part in a 5-day bootcamp to assemble the CubeSat nanosatellite in Tashkent and launch this satellite.
