The textbook "General Geomorphology" by Khairully Dzhurakulov, Professor of the Department of Ecology and Life Safety of Samarkand State University, has been published.

      The first 4 parts of this textbook are devoted to the theoretical foundations of geomorphology. It tells about the object, tasks, the history of the formation and development of geomorphology, the concepts of relief, shape, age and endogenous processes that create relief. Exogenous processes are discussed in detail in the following sections. In particular, river, mountainous regions, plains and plateaus, arid, karst, modern and past glaciers in the mountains, areas of the Pleistocene continental glaciation, glacial, coastal relief, biogenic relief morphologies are devoted.
