A meeting was organized with students of the Faculty of History of Samarkand State University and their parents. At the beginning of the event, parents visited the faculty where their children study. They got acquainted with educational processes, the activities of museums and libraries.

      A film created according to the idea of the rector of Samarkand State University, scientist of the Republic of Uzbekistan, member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Rustam Halmuradov was presented to the attention of parents. The film shows the life path of heroes who came from ordinary families and achieved high results thanks to education.

      "Believe in yourself!" You are as strong as they are. Gain knowledge. Do not despair. This film, based on the slogan “Only forward, only forward...”, made a great impression on the participants of the event.

      At the event, Rustam Yuldashev, first vice-rector for youth affairs and spiritual and educational work of Samarkand State University, spoke and talked with parents.

      - My daughter Rukhshona studies at the history department of Samarkand State University. The meeting of parents did us good,” says Nilufar Sharipova. - I was impressed by the film shown at the event. Seeing the life path of the heroes, I was once again convinced of the importance of the role of parents in the education and upbringing of children. I didn’t study; I really wanted my children to be educated. I will create more conditions for their studies.

      - I am grateful to the leadership of SamSU. “The university creates conditions for our children that we cannot implement,” says Mukaddas Tukhtaeva. - Today I saw opportunities at the university, I was proud that my daughter Raikhona is studying at the best university in the region. After watching the film at the meeting, I realized that we should care more about the education of our children. Our children must study well in order to appreciate the work of their parents and justify the conditions created by the state.
