Samarkand State University was visited by a delegation led by the secretary of the party group for science and technology management of the city of Urumqi, Sin Fuzyan.

      Vice-Rector for International Cooperation of SamSU Akmal Akhatov met with the honorary officials.

      During the dialogue, issues of cooperation between the parties were discussed. Presentations were made by representatives of the People's Republic of China in the fields of education, alternative energy, and automation in healthcare.

      Negotiations were held on the existence of 42 projects in China, such as science, industry, energy, agriculture, IT, smart city, as well as the participation of SamSU professors and researchers.

      They also invited the university management to take part in the international forum “Education and Industry”, which will be held in Urumqi in June.
