Together with the Faculty of History of Samarkand State University and Yaroslavl State University, an international online conference was organized on the topic “Russia and Uzbekistan: history and modernity.”

      The conference was opened by Mukhtor Nasyrov, head of the international cooperation department of Samara State University.

      At the conference, reports were heard from Samarkand and Russian historians on the study of relations between Uzbekistan and Russia in different periods.

      Following the conference, issues of further development of cooperation between the parties were discussed: an online seminar, lectures for students, exchange programs for professors, teachers and students.
