Sardor Umarov, Director of the International Education Programs Center at Samarkand State University, participated in the summer institute of the same name organized at the Russian State University for the Humanities.

         Twenty-five participants from Armenia, Abkhazia, Belarus, Vietnam, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan attended the institute.

         The ‘Summer Institute-2024’ international project was carried out as a professional development program (48 academic hours). It included methodological, cultural, and recreational activities, as well as organizational and informational blocks.

        Within the framework of the Summer Institute, professional development courses were organized with a focus on the following educational areas:

  • Digital Humanities: A Historian in the Modern Information Environment;
  • Scientific and Pedagogical Schools of Russian Humanities;
  • History of Science and Technology as a Common Heritage for the Future of Eurasia;
  • History and Contemporary Processes of Eurasian Integration;
  • Extensive Historical Geography and Regional Studies of Greater Eurasia;
  • Methodology of Studying International Relations History – Modern Approaches.

  • Alongside the main professional development lectures organized at the Russian State University for the Humanities, professional development lectures were also conducted at Moscow State University, Tver State University, and Tula State Pedagogical University. At the end of the program, participants were awarded certificates of professional development.
