A conference on the topic "Educated Woman – A Pillar of a Prosperous Society" was organized at Samarkand State University.

The seminar was opened with an introductory speech by the rector of Samarkand State University, Honored Scientist of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Rustam Kholmurodov.

The event was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Chairperson of the Committee on Family and Women’s Affairs, Zulaykho Makhamova, Deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, Zebiniso Rakhmonova, Deputy Governor of Samarkand Region and Head of the Department of Family and Women’s Affairs, Zebo Saidova, First Vice-Rector of SamSU for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work, Subkhan Abbosov, Advisor to the Rector of SamSU, Sharofat To’qliyeva, Professors Mahkamtosh Tursunova and Nazmiya Mukhiddinova, Honored Cultural Worker of Uzbekistan, Khosiyat Bobomurodova, and Leader of the "Wise Women" Movement of Samarkand Region, Jamila Sayfiddinova, who all delivered speeches.

Speakers shared their views on the role of women in society, gender equality, and the contributions of female scholars in spreading knowledge
