Mashkhura Ravshanova, a student of the Faculty of Preschool and Primary Education of Samarkand State University, is conducting a scientific research on the topic “Using samples of children's folklore in classes on the development of speech in preparatory groups of preschool educational organizations”.

“Folklore material, taking into account the age capabilities of children, contributes to the cognitive and emotional development of our pupils,” says the well-known Ravshanova. -Such examples of children's folklore as songs, proverbs, sayings, applause sayings, pampering, ovutmachok, retmachok, appeals, in the first place, form a trusting and affectionate relationship between adults and children. Through the rich national, cultural, historical heritage of the people, children perform such tasks as educating spiritual and moral qualities, shaping the need for knowledge and interest in learning among preschoolers, and preparing them for the educational process.

The child in the process of speech relies directly on emotions. Samples of children's folklore are considered important for such properties as enriching the child's feelings and developing his ability to express emotions corresponding to the content of the text. Children's folklore stimulates the creative abilities of the child, stimulates his imagination. Developing the child's thinking, he forms the skills of free expression of his thoughts.

Educators can use children's folklore in their individual and collective classes, as well as in leisure activities. Children's folklore helps speech therapists to establish contact with children, create favorable conditions for teaching children beautiful and expressive speech. They develop initiative, organizational skills, resourcefulness.
